Marks

Minimalist, functional and extravagant – the essence of Japan – seems to be Marks‘ magic formula. Launched in Tokyo in 1982, this exceptional business started out with a small, but perfectly formed line of calendars, followed by other paper or cardboard based products like diaries and notebooks. Recently, Marks’ “Storage.lt” notebook received the German Design Award 2014 for its excellent usability; it even boasts a patented zippered PVC sleeve. The only downside: The line takes away any excuses for everyday chaos!
