Sarah Illenberger is a ‘crafter’ and ‘maker’ – yet these terms doesn’t really do justice to her artistic genius. Early on, during her graphic design studies at London’s Saint Martin’s College, Sarah discovered her penchant for illustration. She soon turned her back on digital graphic design to focus on hands-on, tangible images instead. With resounding success: In her Berlin studio, the gifted artist turns everyday materials into unusual, often tongue-in-cheek originals. By now, her works have captured the hearts and minds of artists and designers around the world – and our own.
