Indress

Indress

Dutch designer Wies Schulte became known with hairbands made of silk orchids or shoulder straps with an ostrich feather brooch. Trained at the fashion academy in Antwerp, for years she produced exactly one piece per season with these accents. Later she worked for Castelbajac and Kenzo, then founded her label Indress in Paris in 2001 together with actor and photographer Aude Buttazzoni. Together, they now produce kimono dresses, bobble hats (with side-facing bobble) or chains made of silk flower petals. It might sound kitschy, but it’s actually quite poetic fashion.
